The Project:

"Making College Life a Reality for Students with Intellectual Disabilities" will provide a normative pathway to a good life, even for the most significantly challenged student.  This initiative will use a Facilitator to support each student to identify a career plan, register to audit or attend College courses, modify material, liiase with faculty, peer mentors, families and other College activities and services.  The Facilitator will support students to transition to summer employment and volunteer options as well as conduct a project evaluation.  The project also identifies a method of mentoring and training College faculty in inclusive practises.
