Help people taking dialysis have a family vacation.Camp Dorset Corporation

In order to provide a family vacation experience for those requiring dialysis treatment, the medical facility must continue to replace old equipment that has reached the end of its useful life. After the camping season in 2011, Camp Dorset must retire and replace 20 dialysis machines to continue operation. This project is solely related to purchasing and installing said machines. Operating expenses and other capital projects are separately funded by the Lions and the Kidney Foundation.

It should be noted that the funds available in the Pepsi Refresh Everything program will only fund 10 of the 20 machines. The Lions continue fundraising efforts - the latest fundraising event was a walk from Camp Dorset to Ottawa - 600+km. This walk raised in the neighborhood of $40,000.
