Project Summary:
The 12th Annual "Foods Across the Rainbow" Summer Nutrition Camp will provide a hands-on cooking camp experience with an emphasis on learning basic cooking skills along with the encouragement of lifelong, healthy eating and wellness habits. By empowering the children and youth to make healthy eating and living choices, their newly developed skills will inspire their parents/caregivers and siblings, thereby affecting change in many families. The 2010 Summer Nutrition Camp Project will involve over 300 children and youth and provide meaningful summer employment for university students.
