Overview

SMH Days on Campus engages students and their communities across Canada in an open, compassionate, inclusive and lively national discussion about mental illness. SMH Comedy Troupes talk about Youth Depression, Suicide and other issues.

SMH Days involves students, faculty and staff on 25 campuses in the planning and running of their Day. It networks schools, helps them to share challenges, successes, their own mental health programs/research.

SMH gives a lunchtime show for students, faculty and staff. We do an evening show for everyone who couldn't come at lunch and the community. The lunch show is 1 hour of comedy. The evening show includes screening "Cracking Up".

How will the $100K be used?

Budget Notes: Travel, accommodation and meal expenses for SMH Comics
$ 80,000 SMH Performance Fees that go back into running all SMH Programs
$ 20,000 Honorariums for all SMH Comics
