Overview
The choir has several projects in the making for its second year: a guignolée (financial donations and non perishable food items) for families living around the Valcartier base, participation in a stage tribute to Quebec's military tattoo and free Christmas concerts for the entire population of Quebec City. The choir director is a competent volunteer but we are having trouble finding a volunteer rehearsal pianist. In addition, the acquisition of new partitions and equipment for concerts (bags, jackets) requires more than good will. Given the deployment of over 2,500 Valcartier soldier this fall, we believe that this event can bring a little happiness and ease the anxiety generated by the departure of loved ones. The choir is currently formed of 54 members.
