Overview
Never had a family doctor? Moved? New to the country? We understand how tough it is to find a family doctor. Over 5 million Canadians are currently in search of one. Even though we have a right to free universal healthcare, it seems like we have no access to it. Having gone through this challenge ourselves, we have committed to make it easy for all Canadians to find family doctors.
We have started an online healthcare directory that lists all types of doctors and clinics. Now we are set to gather information about family doctors who are accepting new patients and make it publicly accessible through our directory - www.healthkiwi.ca. In addition to information gathered by us, we are to create an online environment that will allow communities to share information about family doctors in their neighbourhoods.
