Overview
The project "Create a Sledge Hockey Team" will allow children and adults with physical disabilities to play hockey. In addition to the physical activity, sledge hockey will help them improve their self esteem, maintain a good mental health and widen their social network. The players will also have access to equipment that can be used for more than one person and that would be re-used from season to season. An exhibition day was organized in Sherbrooke on Septembre 26 and around 10 people are already interested in practising the activity. I am backed by Hockey Quebec, AQSFR and the Centre for rehabilitation.
