Overview

The Kingston Canadian Film Festival is an annual festival that celebrates Canadian film and filmmakers.

We believe that Canadian film and filmmakers are distinctive and vital to our country’s culture. We want to develop an audience for our national cinema by promoting, celebrating and showcasing Canadian film and by supporting and encouraging Canadian film production.

We do this by showcasing culturally diverse Canadian films during our annual festival; bringing filmmakers to Kingston; offering free educational opportunities; and exhibiting locally-made short films.

Deliverables:
-Showcase 16-20 Canadian feature films from a variety of genres
-Showcase 3-6 French language Canadian feature films
-Program 3-5 filmmaking workshops, master classes or other events
-Exhibit at least 15 locally-produced short films
-Bring 15-25 filmmakers and industry professionals to Kingston
