Overview
POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT through EVENT PLANNING(P.R.E.P.)
6 key youth will be trained & mentored in event planning through all the YOUnited festivities, including the Scarborough Youth Arts Town Hall Meeting, a Youth Film Festival, & the Scarborough Fresh Fair.
FASHION, LIFE, & YOU(F.L.Y.)
10 Youth will be mentored in fashion & event planning through the organizing & managing of 3 marquee areas of the FreshFair: The Marketplace, Battle of the Barbers & the Photo Booth & Style Corner.
MEDIA AND DESIGN EDUCATION(M.A.D.E.)
4 youth will be mentored in Graphic, Web & media design, or video/photo production. The Graphic design mentees will be mentored through a mix of hands on experience and guidance from YOUnited. They will be responsible for the graphic design duties. The video & Photography mentees will work w/ the development of the YOUnited wrap up video & photo documentary.
