We plan to use the funds raised to create a Special Events Coordinator position for our agency-YNFRP: The Family Place.

With such a position, we would be able to host special events on a more frequent basis. These events will significantly help in raising funds for the organization and its programs. These events would also allow for an opportunity for families in York Region to participate in family centred activities.  

Being located in a small rural part of town provides us with an interesting opportunity to bring together people from all areas of York Region as a community.  Receiving the funds for this project would allow us the opportunity to keep family centred fun activities closer to home for those in East Gwillimbury, Georgina and surrounding regions. 

Community Benefit

This project would significantly benefit the community! The events would create an opportunity for families to participate in family centred activities in a place close to home. Also, the funds that would be raised would go directly into programming and services that benefit our members!

How will the $25K be used?

Budget Notes: The budget would not cover the cost to put on the events.
$ 25,000 Salary for the position of Special Events Coordinator
