Imagine being out of work! Imagine having limited resources! What are the next steps?
The Learning Centre will deliver a program to offer adults the chance to recognize their own untapped skills.
This 60 hour course will teach computer skills to enhance employment prospects. Participants will be able to assess their own skills to research careers that fit with their needs, goals and interests. Learn about the local labour market and plan the next steps to employment. Speakers from various employment fields will give direction in career choices.
Beginning in January 2011, 5 sessions will be offered and will assist 100 unemployed, underemployed or laid off adults. They will benefit from this instruction which will enable them to seek meaningful employment.
The office for the Learning Centre is located in the Niagara Region and the program will be open to any adult wishing to improve their future employment.
