Our schoolyard committee wants to improve physical activity and make it more appealing and accessible to kids by giving them access to a playground during the day, encouraging physical activity in a safe schoolyard.

Overview
Currently, we have a total of $50,000 from the school board, which will serve to level the yard and pave the play area for kindergarden children.
With our pizza dinners, we will fence in the different parts of the grassed area. We will remove the unnecessary fences that are in place and put safety nets over the fence to prevent balls from leaving the playground.
And with Pepsi, we'll put in a playground manufactured and installed by Jambette, a Quebec company located in Levis. This playground will be for 5-12 year-olds, so the whole school will benefit from the project.
How will the $25K be used? |
