Overview
Practically Green Solutions seeks to engage the corporate community in adopting solutions that are Practically Green: that is strategies that are as simple and cost-effective as they are environmentally friendly! We'll work one-on-one with over 100 businesses to assess their environmental practices, design a customized action plan for improvement, and work with their senior management team to implement their action plan. We'll also launch support programs such as a database of green business practices, free monthly workshops, purchasing alliance and waste materials exchange to build a green business culture across the GTA!
Deliverables:
- 100 assessments completed, and action plans designed and implemented
- 12 free workshops on green business practices reaching at least 240 businesses
- 1 online database of green business practices with at least 500 hits
- At least 50 participants in a green purchasing alliance
- At least 50 participants in a waste material exchange
