Overview
Soccer is the fastest growing sport in Canada. More than 800,000 players are registered, with more than 28,000 in Hamilton alone.
Making sure that all who wish to participate in soccer have the opportunity is a key objective of Ancaster Soccer Club. However there is insufficient space to meet all of the summer demand, and very little indoor space for the winter programming. As a result, ASC and other clubs in Hamilton, have struggled to provide programs, especially in the winter.
Recognizing that soccer benefits both youth and the community as a whole, ASC has undertaken to build a soccer complex that will provide additional outdoor space in the summer months and provide indoor space for games, training and tournaments in the winter months. This international sized, domed field and field house will be only the third of its type in the province of Ontario and will serve all of Hamilton and south west Ontario.
