Overview
The Walk Tall Aboriginal Youth Achievement Awards recognizes the outstanding achievement of Urban Aboriginal and Carrier Sekani Youth who exhibits high standards of excellence, dedication, leadership, and accomplishments in the following areas: Leadership(Male & Female Categories), Academic (High School and Post Secondary Categories), Traditional Field of Practice (18 years & younger, 19 years & older categories), Athletic (High School and Post Secondary Categories), Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Business/Entrepreneurial (Male and Female Categories), Personal Achievement (18 years & younger, and 19 years & older Categories), Community/Volunteer (Male & Female Categories), Trades Bursaries, Female Trade Sector, Courage to comeback, Early Childhood Educator, Health Field, and Social Work (Male and Female Categories). The two all ages awards are Lifetime Achievement and the Métis Award. the main entertainment is Inez. Youth focused Event.

Budget Notes: the 3rd Annual Walk Tall Aboriginal Youth Achievement Awards budget is roughly $93, 840.12 The $10,000 will help with three of the expenses. All excess funds will be used to start the 4th Annual Aboriginal Youth Achievement Awards. | |
